One of my earliest memories was of color. I loved the color of a person’s eyes, the deep cobalt blue sky between the fading sunset and full darkness, or Mother Earth in all her glory. I sold my first painting at the age of 12 at an art fair for students in Marin. It was Angel Island in the San Francisco Bay, and from that time, I have always been fascinated by the interplay of light upon the sky, water and land.
The spectrum of the divine Light surrounds and connects us all, which I convey in my paintings and stories about the strength and beauty of human beings.
The Navajo have a saying, “May you walk in beauty.” Having been into meditation for over 30 years, and a Reiki Master, I believe we are all connected to the Universe and are bathed in the Light and beauty, whether or not we are conscious of it.
